Music built an industry on its rights. Video never did. We're building it.
Songs have owners, registries, licenses, and royalties. The most-watched art form on earth grew up with none of that. We know because we watched it happen from the front row, and every part of SocialCoaster exists to change it.
First, we built the crowd
Our channel network, led by BVIRAL, grew into one of the largest followings in viral entertainment: 48 million followers and billions of views a year. That reach taught us exactly what the world wants to watch, and showed us creators everywhere whose work traveled the internet without protection or pay.
Then, the library. The slow way.
We signed videos one creator at a time, under exclusive license, for years. No scraping, no aggregation: an owner of record on every clip. Then we did what almost nobody does with social video: registered the works with the US Copyright Office, more than two thousand times and counting.
Then, the industry around it
Detection that finds our content through crops and re-cuts. A marketplace where anyone can license it in seconds. Rights infrastructure that resolves disputes with documentation, not drama. Ten products, engineered in-house, covering the entire life of a video right.
Video is the most valuable media format on earth, and the least protected. That's the gap this company exists to close.
